R.C.I.A. is a process in which adults interested in becoming a member of the Church are introduced to Catholic belief and practices. Baptism and/or reception into the Church, first reception of the Eucharist and Confirmation take place during the Easter Vigil Services. Members of the parish are encouraged to participate by being sponsors for the catechumens and talking with them about what it means to be a Catholic.
