EUCHARISTIC HOLY HOUR
Thursday August 5th at 7:00pm all are invited to a Holy Hour for Vocations at St. Gerard Church. The Holy Hour begins with Exposition of the Eucharist and there will be time to pray and be with our Lord. The hour will close with benediciton.
August 26 - Pewabic Pottery Factory & Fairlane Estate. Pewabic Pottery is a living treasure and offers a glimpse of a little known part of American History. It is nationally renowned for its tile and pottery in unique glazes. Fairlane Estate is the home of Henry Ford. Cost: $65 this includes bus, both tours, and lunch. Deadline for registration is August 9.
September 9-14 - Washington DC & Gettysburg. Travel by luxury mortorcoach. Spend 3 days touring the DC area and one day touring the city and battlefields of Gettysburg.

THE 2nd ANNUAL ST. GERARD CHARITY CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 12:30 to 5:00pm will be the second annual Charity Classic Car Show. This show is for everyone who enjoys looking at Classic Cars. There is no cost to visit. YOUTH MINISTRY SUMMER WORK CAMP
APPALACHIA BOUND!
We will be traveling, with St. Mary in Chelsea, to Frenchville, Pennsylvania. We will be gone from July 25th to the 31st.
Cost: $225 for the whole week!!
$100 deposit and paperwork due July 9th, 2010.
There are only 20 spots available.
You may grab a packet of forms outside the youth room door.
St. Gerard Debt Reduction Envelope
The debt reduction envelope in with your sunday envelopes is to help the parish with their building debt. Each month we pay $28,000 to the Diocese of Lansing for our 2005 construction project. With your help we can lower our interest and pay this debt off early.

Age and grade restricitons: We are licensed to accept children that will be 4 years old as of September 1, 2010 up through those that will be in 6th grade as of September 1, 2010.

Help us keep tuition modest and the quality of our faith based school high by participating in the Fr. Weber Annual Fund. All funds go to the St. Gerard Education Trust Fund, the earnings of which provides annual income in support of St. Geard School.

The parish library is open after all Masses and when the parish office is open. Come and look around, we have books, CDs,videos, audio tapes, and current periodicals. If you would like assistance contact Mary Tardif at the parish office (323-2379) or

Please help us keep our supply greater than the demand. Items needed: Mac & cheese, jelly, peanut butter, cereal, soup, tuna fish, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, pork and beans, canned vegetables, frosting, cake mix, fruit, pancake mix, syrup, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, kleenex, soap (dish, hand, laundry) disposable diapers (all sizes). If you have any brown paper bags that you would like to get rid of, please leave them in the boxes with the food.
Monetary donations are always welcome. Thank you for your generosity throughout the year, especially on food weekends.
